The use of the EAMcompact plug-in is based on two pillars.

The first pillar is represented by the macros themselves. The macros map the existing structures graphically. In chapter Integration of the macros, there is a description of how macros are integrated into a Confluence page and what properties they can have. As a general rule, the macros EAMcompact map and

EAMcompact project portfolio can be used on any page in Confluence. The macro

EAMcompact navigation, on the other hand, is only intended for use on pages within the Enterprise Architecture Management hierarchy that have been designated as modules by the user. For the currently selected module, it shows which other modules it is used by and which other modules it itself uses.

The second pillar is represented by the special page structure in Confluence. The page structure must contain meta information for the macros to work. In chapter Creating the page structure, there is an explanation of how to build a page structure in Confluence so that the necessary meta information is available for optimal use of the macros.
